These contracts are mostly used by companies to forbid the disclosure of confidential information or company’s trade secrets, its practices and/or its workers’ information. When an employee starts the working relation, most employers will request to sign a contract.
In order to have the main points covered, it will be essential to have attorney advice.
The contract must include the detailed information that must not be disclosed. It will vary from one contract to the other, but it is usual that they have business practices, contact information, formulas, software codes, research and development information, private correspondence, among others.
The signature’s date must be informed and how long it will last, even if it is indefinitely.
