What are the most common infringements of Intellectual Property?

– Use of registered trademarks: You may choose a trademark name that has already been registered for the same products or services, and if you use it, you may face legal consequences, even when you don’t know it.

– Selling pirate merchandise: It is not a secret that there are well known trademarks, whose products are for sale at a much cheaper prize than what we would pay for them at the official store. You purchase them at a lower price, because they are not original. They are fake. The consumer (mostly) knows that the product is not original, and it is just a knockout

– Using copyrighted music for a purpose without making payments: Anyone playing a piece of music must pay a fee for it, especially if the purpose is commercial, such a publicity, for instance.

– Software use: Sometimes you buy a software, but when the license expires, you do not renew it and you find a way, an illegal way, to use it. Or, you find a free alternative to download the software online, but that is in violation of copyright.
