Accepting guests on your blog is an excellent way to help other blogger or entrepreneurs so other can get to know them. However, do you know how to legally protect yourself?
– When someone else wrote the content, you cannot modify it.
– Even if the post is only on your blog, you are not the author, and you cannot claim copyrights on the text, photo, video, etc. If you do so, you are committing copyright infringement and you may end up in a legal battle.
– In order to legally protect you, it is highly recommended that you have a signed agreement with your guest, otherwise, you are taking the risk that the true author claims that he/she never agreed on the publication.
